New At This ...

I'm definitely not one to keep a journal but since we live so far from our families I've decided this is the best way to give updates. I'm new at this so it might take me a while to learn how to B-Dazzle this thing up. Enjoy!

My parent's and sister came in to town last weekend for General Conference, sadly my dad and sister had to leave after the weekend but my mom got to stay for a week and half (which was wonderful)! Most of you probably know that I definitely DON'T have the creative/crafty juices like my mom and sister so whenever they come in to town I put them to good use! I decided that I wanted Christmas (my new decorated kitchen etc.) from my parents early since we're going to Caleb's families house for Christmas this year. We FINALLY set up and decorated Lily's room (she's only 4 mo. old now) and started decorating the Kitchen. For Lily's room I decided to go with kind of an antique/paris type room ... My mom being the crafty lady that she is, sewed everything in the room (blanket, pillows covers, crib set, and window draper (she's nuts, I have no idea how she does it all)

On to the Kitchen... decided to go with teal and black (cant go wrong with black) sort of a shabby chic style and so far I LOVE how its turned out. I'm still looking for some fun teal things to put up.

Anyways, thats all for now... Pictures of Miss Lily and the past few weeks festivities to come!
